Chandler, Samuel
Chandler, Samuel a Congregational minister, was born at Andover, Mass. He graduated at Harvard College in 1735; became pastor of the second parish of York, Me., Jan. 20, 1742; was dismissed in 1751; installed at Gloucester, Mass., Nov. 13, the same year; and died April 16, 1775, aged sixty-three years.
