Chalmers, Hugh
Chalmers, Hugh a Scotch clergyman, son of the minister at Rhynie, was ordained helper at Marnoch in 1671; presented to the living by the king in 1680, and died June 6, 1707, leaving his son Alexander, who became his successor, and James, minister at Dyke. See Fasti Eccles. Scoticanae, 3, 208.
