Chalker, Isaac
Chalker, Isaac a Presbyterian minister, was born in Connecticut. He graduated from Yale College in 1728, and was ordained in 1734 by the East Jersey Presbytery pastor of Bethlehem and Walkill, in the Highlands of New York. In 1743 he left the bounds of the synod, and in 1744 settled at Eastbury, Conn., where he remained till 1760. He died May 28, 1765. See Webster, Hist. of the Presb. Church in America, 1857. (J.C.S.)
