Chaereas
Chae'reas (Χαιρέας), a brother of Timotheus, the leader of the Ammonites against Judas Maccabseus (1 Macc. 5:6), who held Gazara (Jazar, 1 Macc. 5:8), where he was slain on the capture of the fortress by the Jews (2 Macc. 10:32, 37).
