Chaderton, William
Chaderton, William an English prelate of the 16th century, was born probably in Cheshire. He became first a fellow, then master of Queen's College, Cambridge; was chosen Lady Margaret professor of divinity, then king's professor; was made bishop of Chester in 1579, of Lincoln in 1594, and died in April, 1608.
