Cerhas
Ce'rhas (Κηφᾶς; in later Hebrews or Syriac כֵּיפָא), a surname which Christ bestowed upon Simon (Joh 1:42), and which the Greeks rendered by Πέτρος, and the Latins by Petrus, both words meaning "a rock," which is the signification of the original. SEE PETER.
