Cavin, Samuel
Cavin, Samuel a Presbyterian minister, was a native of Ireland. He was sent by Donegal Presbytery, Nov. 16, 1737, to Conecocheague, Md., and came to Canogogig in 1739. After laboring some time in the Highlands of New York, he was called, May 26,1743, to Goodwill Ga. The remainder of his life was spent in itinerating in Virginia and filling vacancies.
