Cavazzoni, Francesco
CaVazzoni, Francesco an Asian painter, was born at Bologna in 1559, and studied under Passarotti, and afterwards in the school of Caracci. His principal works are at Bologna. The, most admired are, Magdalene at the Feet of Christ, in Santa Maddalena; The Crucifixion, in Santa Cecilia; and St. Johns Preaching, in San Giovanni. He was living in 1612.
