Caspari, Christian Eduard a Protestant theologian of Germany, who died as pastor in Alsace in 1878, is the author of Chronologisch-geographische Einleitung in das Leben Jesu Chrisfi (Hamburg, 1869); translated into English by M. I Evans, A Chronological and Geographical Introduction to the Life of Christ (Edinburgh, 1876). (B. P.)
