Carr, Robert
Carr, Robert a Scotch clergyman of Tweedmouth, studied theology at the Edinburgh University, was tutor in the family of Sir James Calhoun; licensed to preach in 1817; ordained in 1821 as minister of the Presbyterian. Congregation at Mayport; presented to the living at Luss the same year, and died Sept. 4, 1845. He published An Account of the Parish. See Fasti Eccles. Scoticanae, 2, 367.
