Carpenter, Ezra Greenwood
Carpenter, Ezra Greenwood a Congregational minister, was born at Potsdam, N.Y., Dec. 20, 1829. He studied at St. Lawrence Academy, then a few months in Chicago Theological Seminary, and privately in Minnesota. He was ordained evangelist at Maiden Rock, Wis., Dec. 30, 1868; was acting pastor there, 1867-70; at Grand Rapids, 1870-72; at Corning, Ia., 1872-74; installed at Stuart, Aug. 22,1874, resigned March 17,1875; was acting pastor at Winthrop, 187576 at Golden Prairie, 1877; and died Aug. 25, 1879.
