Caroli, Pietro Francesco
Caroli, Pietro Francesco a Piedmontese painter, was born at Turin in 1638. He studied architecture, geometry, and perspective; and visited Venice, Florence, and Rome, where his merit gained him admission to the Academy of St. Luke, of which he became professor.
