Cario

Cario an Egyptian of the 4th century, left his wife and two children in order to retire to a hermitage at Scete. His story, in which his son Zacharias prominently figures, may be seen in Cotelier (Eccl. Gr. Mon. 1, 444, 516; see also Tillemont, Mim. 10:76).
