Cardenas, Bartolomo De
Cardenas, Bartolomo De, a Spanish painter of. Portuguese origin, was born in 1547, and studied under Sanchez Coello, at Madrid. He painted the principal part of the cloister of the convent of Nuestra Sefiora d' Atocha, at Madrid; he also painted for the churches of Valladolid in the latter part of his life. He died in 1606.
