Carate, Girolamo Di
Carate, Girolamo Di, an Italian canon of the regular clerks of the order of the Oblates of St. Ambrose and of St. Borromeo, lived, probably at Milan, in the first part. of the 17th century. He was professor of theology and of canon law, and afterwards apostolic prothonotary. He left, Tavole delle Opere esteriori, etc. (Milan, 1609):-De Juribus Parochiali-bus (ibid. 1625).
