Canales, Giovamnni

Canales, Giovamnni, an Italian theologian, was born at Ferrara and lived near the close of the 15th century. He entered the order of Cordeliers, and composed several treatises on the Celestial Life, the Nature of the Soul, on Paradise, on Hell, etc. (Venice, 1494). See Hoefer, Nouv. Biog. Generale, s.v.
