Campana, Alberto

Campana, Alberto, a Florentine Dominican, was professor of philosophy at Pisa, and afterwards of theology at Padua, where he died, Sept. 24, 1639, leaving a metrical translation of the Pharsalia, in Italian (Venice, 1600). See Hoefer, Nouv. Biog. Generale, s.v.
