Caldwelli David

Caldwelli David a minister of the Protestant Episcopal Church, was born at Bennington, Vt. In ,early life he removed to Virginia, and was ordained at Alexandria in 1841, serving in the ministry seventeen years. He was, for a time, rector of St. Paul's Church, Norfolk; and two years before his death -succeeded to the rectorship of St. James's, Leesburg. He died there Nov. 25, 1858, aged forty-three years. Mr. Caldwell -was about to publish a series of lectures on the Psalms, 'when he died. See Amer. Quar. Church, Rev. 1859, ip.'680.
