Calanus, Juvencus Ccelius
Calanus, Juvencus Ccelius a Hungarian prelate and historian, was a native of Dalmatia, and lived near the close of the 12th century. We only know of him that, in 1197, he was bishop of the Five Churches. He wrote Attila, rex Hunorum (Venice, 1502, fol.), and aided in an edition of Plutarch, etc. See Hoefer, Nouv. Biog.
