Cajot, Jean Joseph

Cajot, Jean Joseph a French Benedictine of the congregation of St. Vannes, was, born at Verdun-surMeuse in 1726; joined the order at Hautvilliers in 1743; and died in his native town July 7,1779, leaving a number of archaeological and critical Works, for which see Hoefer, Nouv. Biog. Generale, s.v.
