Cairo, Ferdinando
Cairo, Ferdinando an Italian historical painter of the Piedmontese school, was born at Casal Monferrato in 1666 (others say 1656 or 1671), and studied with his father, an obscure artist, and afterwards with Franceschini, at Bologna.
