Buttner, Christoph Andreas
Buttner, Christoph Andreas a Lutheran theologian of Germany, was born Oct. 31,1706, at Nuremberg. He studied at Altorf, and for a time was professor of philosophy at Halle. In 1737 he was called to Stettin; and in 1754 as rector to Stralsund, where he died, Oct. 24,1774.
