Butler, Weeden
Butler, Weeden an English clergyman, was born at Margate in 1742. He was curate to the celebrated Dr. Dodd, and his successor, at Charlotte Chapel, Pimlico. He kept a classical school at Chelsea for forty years. years, and died in 1823. He published Sermons (179899), and other works, for which see Allibone, Dict. of Brit. and Amer.
