Butcher, Thomas Benjamin

Butcher, Thomas. Benjamin an English Congregational minister, was born at Wandsworth, Surrey, in 1790. He was converted at the age of fifteen. In 1840 he was chosen deacon. His first and only charge was Northfleet, where he labored fifty years. He died July 6, 1858. Mr. Butcher was distinguished for great - benevolence, disinterestedness, and zeal. See (Lond.) Cong.
