Busee (Lat Busceus, I E De Buys), Gerard

Busee (Lat. Busceus, I. E. De Buys), Gerard a Dutch theologian, was born about 1538. He was canon at Xanten, and distinguished himself as a preacher. He died in 1596. He wrote a Reply to Faccius Illyricus; also a catechism in Flemish. See Hoefer, Nouv. Biog, Generale, s.v.
