Burch, James K.

a Presbyterian minister, was born in Robeson County, N. C., Aug. 7, 1795. He received his classical education at Philadelphus, N. C., and his theological at Union Seminary, Va. In 1830 he was licensed by Fayetteville Presbytery, and stationed at Laurel Hill, N. C. In 1838 he accepted a call to Hopewell Church, S. C., where he labored for twenty years. He died in 1859.
