Buoni, Buono De

Buoni, Buono De a reputable Italian painter, flourished at Naples about 1430; and studied under Colantonio del Fiore. He painted many pictures for the Neapolitan churches, the best of which is St. Francis Receiving the Stigmata, in the Church of the Restituta. He died about 1465. See Spooner, Biog.
