Brutus, Pietro
Brutus, Pietro an Italian prelate and theologian, a native of Venice, lived in the latter half of the 15th century. The efforts which he put forth for the conversion of the Jews gained for him the appointment of bishop of Cattaro in Dalmatia. Among his numerous works we notice Victoria contra Judaeos (1489).
