Brunus Vincentius

Brunus. Vincentius an Italian Jesuit of Rimini, studied philosophy and medicine at Padua, and practiced the latter for some time. Being of feeble constitution, he joined the order of the Jesuits, and died at Rome, as rector of a Jesuitical college, August 13, 1594, He wrote, Vita, Passio et Resurrectio Domini: — De Sacramento Paenitentiae: — Meditationes in Evangelia, etc. See Alegambe, Bibliotheca Scriptorum Societatis Jesu; Freheri, Theatrum Eruditorum; Jocher, Allgemeines Gelehrten-Lexikon, s.v.
