Brunner, Johannes
Brunner, Johannes a Swiss Protestant theologian, was born in 1755 at Zurich, and died there April 2, 1820, as pastor of the hospital-church and professor of the school of art. He published Unterhaltungen in Predigten fur Kranke, Arme, Schwermuthige und Trostbedurftige (Zurich, 1801, 1810, 2 volumes). See Winer, Handbuch der theol. Lit. 2:196. (B.P.)
