Bruguier, Jean
Bruguier, Jean a French Protestant theologian, was born at Nismes, and died at Geneva in 1634, leaving Discours sur le Chant des Psaunmes (1663, 12mo), in which the writer asserts the propriety of singing the Psalms in public worship, a theory for which the book was condemned, and the author banished: — Reponse au Livie de M.
