Brown, Alonzo

Brown, Alonzo a Presbyterian minister, was born at Ossipee, N.H., May 25, 1826. He graduated at Dartmouth College in 1850, and from 1853 to 1856 was a student in Union Theological Seminary. He was ordained November 5, 1856; was pastor at Clifton (S.I.), N.Y., from 1856 to 1857; and from 1858 to 1873 was a teacher in New York city. He died there, in October 1873. See Gen.
