Brousse, Jacques
Brousse, Jacques canon of St. Honord at Paris, was a native of Auvergne, and a celebrated preacher. During the civil troubles of 1649, he remained firm to the king, and, in 1651, was deputed to Rome with M. de la Lane, on the subject of the Five Propositions.
