Broughton, Job

Broughton, Job a Presbyterian minister, was born at Coatsheath, England, July 15, 1791. He was educated at Lutterworth, was licensed by an association of Independents, and labored as a missionary for seventeen years. He came to America in 1829. In 1853 he was installed pastor of Greenland Church, Bloomingburg, Ohio. He died November 1, 1858. See Wilson, Presb. Hist. Almanac, 1860, page 67.
