Broth&Nus

Broth&Nus a Welsh Saint was the founder of Llanfrothen, in Merionethshire, in the 6th century. Rees says his festival-day was October 15, but the Acta Sactorum (8:358) gives him under October 18, in conjunction with the abbess Gwendolen (Gwyddelan), whose name is preserved at Llanwyddelan, in Montgomeryshire.
