Briggs, Charles (1)

Briggs, Charles (1), an English Baptist minister, was born in 1753. He was successively pastor of the General Baptist churches at Loughborough and at Spalding. He died at the former place September 9, 1840. See (Lond.) Baptist Hand-book, 1841, page 32. (J.C.S.)
