Breithaup, Johann Friedrich a German scholar, who died at Gotha, June 5, 1713, is known by his Latin translations of Josephus Gorionides, which he published with notes (Gotha, 1707); and of Rashi's Commentary on the Old Testament (ibid. 1710-1713).
