Brassy, Robert

Brassy, Robert an English divine of the 16th century. was born at Bunbury, Cheshire, and became doctor of divinity at King's College, Cambridge, of which he was elected thirteenth provost. He publicly protested against the visitors of the university, in the reign of Mary, pleading exemptions granted by the Pope. He seems to have resided at Cambridge during his life, and died in 1558.
