Boyermans (or Boeyermans), Theodore
Boyermans (Or Boeyermans), Theodore, an eminent Flemish painter, flourished in the. 17th century. He was a native of Antwerp. His principal works are in Flanders and Brabant. In the Jesuits' Church at Ypres is his master-piece, representing St. Francis Xavier Converting an Indian Chief. In the convent of the Jacobins at Antwerp is the Decollation of St. John; and in the Church of St. James is a fine picture of the Assumption. He was living in 1660.
