Bouie, Jean Charles
Bouie, Jean Charles a French preacher, was born about 1720 at Cannes. After having taught rhetoric at Villefranche, he entered the order of the Cordeliers, but afterwards released himself from his vows. Boule preached several times before the king. He died near the close of the 18th century. He wrote, Histoire Abregee de la Vie, des Vertus et du Culte de Saint Bonaventure (Lyons, 1747): Lpitre: sur les Cha rmes de Union et de I'Amitie (in the Journal of Verdun, April, 1742).
