Bosio, Jacopo

Bosio, Jacopo of Milan, a knight of the order of St. John of Jerusalem, was intrusted with the care of religious affairs in Malta at the end of the 16th century. He wrote a History of the True Cross, from the period of its discovery under Constantine the Great: — and an Account of the Order of the Knights of Malta. The best edition is that of Rome (1621, 3 vols. fol.).
