Bold, John

Bold, John, an English clergyman, was born in Leicestershire in 1679, and educated at St. John's College, Cambridge. Having entered into holy orders, he took the curacy of Stony Staunton, Leicestershire, where he labored for about fifty years. He died in 1757. His publications include, The Sin and Danger of Neglecting the Public Service of the Church (1745): — Religion the most Delightful Employment: — The Duty of Worthy Communicating.
