Boger, George

Boger, George, a German Reformed minister, was born in North Carolina, Dec. 15, 1782. In early life he was admitted to the Church, and in 1798 was ordained and received as a member of the Synod of Carlisle, Pa. During the year 1818 he preached at Rowan and Cabarras, in North Carolina. While in that state, a period of twenty years, he preached 308 funeral sermons, baptized 1919 children, confirmed 607 persons, and solemnized 301 marriages.
