Boardman, Sylvanus
Boardman, Sylvanus a Baptist minister, was born at Chilmark, Mass., Sept. 15, 1757. He was licensed to preach in 1795; was ordained pastor of the Church in Livermore, Me., Feb. 2, 1802, and continued in that relation till 1810, when he took charge of a Church in North Yarmouth, where he remained six years. Subsequently he took charge of a Church at New Sharom until his death, March 16, 1845. See Sprague, Annals of the Amer. Pulpit, 6, 733; Willett, Hist. of'the Baptists of Maine, p. 436.
