Blanchis, Paolo Da, an Italian theologian of the Dominican order, a native of Murano, who lived in the early half of the 17th century, wrote Disceptationes de Difficilioribus Materiis Casuum et Dubiorumn Occurrentium in Conscientia, de Pemnitentia, de Negotiatione, de Bello Publico et Privato (Venice, 1622, 1650).
