Blakeslee, James
Blakeslee, James a Presbyterian minister, was born at Brattleboro, Vt., March 4, 1800. He was licensed in 1827, and preached at Curtisville, Conn., and various places in New York and Ohio. In 1836 he went to Jamaica as a missionary, but returned to the United States in 1838. He died April 4, 1863. See Wilson, Presb. Hist. Almanac, 1864, p. 294.
