Blackhouse, Sarah
Blackhouse, Sarah, an English minister of the Society of Friends, was born about 1626, and in the twenty-seventh year of her age was converted under the preaching of George Fox. Some years after this she began to preach. Her labors are said to have been highly edifying. She died May 30, 1706. See Piety Promoted, 1, 377, 378. (J. C. S.)
