Bisi, Bonaventura
Bisi, Bonaventura an Italian painter, was born at Bologna in 1612. He studied under Lucio Massari, and gained considerable reputation by his copies in miniature after Correggio, Titian, Guido, etc., many of which were in the cabinet of the duke of Modena. He etched a few plates after his own designs, the best of which is the Holy Family, with St. John and St. Elizabeth, marked F. B.B.F., 1631. He died at Modena in 1662. See Spooner, Biog.
