Bishop, Alexander Hamilton

Bishop, Alexander Hamilton a minister of the Reformed (Dutch) Church, was born at New Haven, Conn., in 1810. He graduated at Yale College in 1830, and at Princeton Seminary in 1835. He was licensed by the Connecticut Association in that year, and was pastor of the Church in Astoria, N. Y., from 1840 to 1853. He died in 1854. "He was a remarkable man."'
