Bierling, Conrad Friedrich Ernst
Bierling, Conrad Friedrich Ernst a Lutheran theologian of Germany, was born Sept. 15, 1709, at Rinteln, where he also pursued his philosophical as well as theological studies. In 1729 he was made doctor of philosophy, and in 1731 appointed professor of logic and metaphysics. He was appointed professor of theology in 1749, and in 1751 was made doctor of divinity.
